Drawing on the expertise of the multi-disciplinary team, we have over 20 years of experience in successfully coordinating return to work programs for individuals requiring a range of services from a straightforward recovery to a complex and/or prolonged injury. Throughout the return to work transition, LCP Health will provide clear and objective reporting to track progress and ensure a safe and timely return, using standardised objective measures.

Work Conditioning Program
A work conditioning Program is a rehabilitation program designed to assist individuals who have sustained musculoskeletal injuries in achieving a safe and sustainable return to work. The conditioning program is an individualized program that is involves education, injury-specific strengthening, cardiovascular and flexibility training, as well as, focused on functional restoration and work-simulated activities.
Work conditioning programs provide a transition between acute care and gradual return to work while addressing the issue of productivity, safety, physical tolerances and work behaviors. Programs use conditioning tasks that are graded to progressively improve the function of the individual in conjunction with real or simulated work activities.
PGAP
The PGAP is an evidence-based treatment program for reducing disability associated with pain, depression, cancer and other chronic health conditions. PGAP is a 10-week intervention program that is aimed to reduce psychosocial barriers to rehabilitation progress, promote re-integration into life-role activities, increase quality of life and facilitate a return to work.

Disability Case Management
LCP Health can provide the medical and rehabilitative expertise combined with a sound working knowledge of the health care system and duty to accommodate rights to ensure an effective and appropriate care plan for employees. We provide disability case management for a variety of clients including insurance and lawyers by assisting with communication between all necessary health care team members.
We are able to initiate and maintain a well-coordinated response to the individual’s rehabilitation and medical needs. At LCP Health, we pride ourselves in being able to facilitate lasting solutions, within a northern context, that benefit everyone involved.

Job Site Evaluation/Ergonomics
Facilitation of RTW and duty to accommodate can be multi-faceted and complex; therefore, it can benefit to have a third party provide objective measurable modifications at the worksite. Modifications may include work tasks and/or hours to facilitate gradual return to the target job, as well as advice regarding medical and psychiatric symptom control and body mechanics/ergonomics.
