Jean-Daniel Boudreau, Massage Therapist
JD completed his Massage Therapy Diploma course at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Halifax and is a member of the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC).
The focal point of his therapeutic approach is to find the source of aches and pains and to assist the body in finding its own way through the healing process. He sees his role as a Massage Therapist as assisting the body’s innate ability to heal. As such, he strives to help patients achieve long lasting results. His treatments focus on postural re-education and re-alignment, as well as assisting to optimise the healing soft tissue. He uses a variety of techniques including general Swedish Massage, Joint Mobilizations, Myofascial Release and Manual Lymph Drainage.
When he is not working, JD can be found roaming the roads and trails on his bike or canoeing merrily down one of the many rivers or lakes across Canada.
