Registered Speech Language Pathologist with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists. She received her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at McGill University in 1986. She has worked in the North for over 20 years with predominately preschool and school-age children from a variety of linguistic and cultural backgrounds. She has an interest in child language development and autism. In addition to working with clients directly, Wendy provides training to parents, early childhood staff, school personnel and educational assistants regarding speech and language development. She also uses telehealth to provide speech-language services to remote communities.
Wendy has served on the board of directors for the Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists. She has also served as President of the Association of Northwest Territorial Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists
